# Functions API

## `can_interact_with_node(player, pos)`
|
|
|
|
returns `bool`
|
|
|
|
checks for the ability to interact with a node via:
|
|
|
|
* if a player
|
|
* owner metadata key
|
|
* `protection_bypass`
|
|
|
|
supports
|
|
|
|
* minetest game default if present
|
|
* else polyfill
|
